My mom came into town for a visit. She brought us Tyler's crib and the Halloween outfit she made him. Jeff's sister Carolyn suggested that Jeff be a pirate and Tyler be his parrot, so that is what we did. My mom created a parrot costume for Tyler. I think it turned out great. Tyler wasn't a fan of the hat, in fact, when my mom put in on him, he tried to yank it off and looked super offended she put it on him. A few days later, Jeff put it on Tyler and Tyler was fine with it.
While my mom was here, her and I got the house in order. It was nice to have a partner help with such a big task. The house looked so different once we were finished.
My mom also treated us lots of yummy food. Here she is in the drive thru at Panda Express:
