Baseball

November 2018

Ahh baseball, where to start with you? Well, first off, Tyler loves baseball. He is truly a Lake boy. When he was younger he loved all of the sports teams Jeff did (Lakers, Dodgers, Raiders). Now, he likes to cheer for the team playing Jeff's team. This has been a source of contention for Tyler and Jeff at times, well more like Jeff gets annoyed at Tyler cheering against his team and booing his team. But, Tyler is very committed to his new ways.

The baseball teams he likes to cheer for the most are the Giants and Cubs. Nelson likes the Giants and James likes the cubs. Jeff cannot stand the Giants.

During the world "serious" Tyler cheered for every team that played the Dodgers. He loved to call Grandpa and David and report back to them the score when the Dodgers lost. David would call when they won. It was pretty funny. Unfortunately for Jeff but fortunately for Tyler, the Dodgers lost the world "serious" to the Red Sox.

November 2017

Tyler was playing baseball with "Big Tyler" when Big Tyler said, "Hey batter batter." Tyler replied, "Hey nutter butter. Hey cookie cookie."

Tyler is playing baseball. He team mates are the Tigers, D-Backs, Diamondbacks, Ravens, and Broncos.

A: Tyler was disappointed the Cubs lost last night, he said, "Ah man, again?" But he also said he wants to live by the Dodgers so not sure where his loyalties really are.
James: Tell him there's always last year.

Tyler is trying to hit the baseball over the neighbor's wall because "When it goes over the fence it is a home run." He made me take off his fake gloves that he had to "hit better". He also sings the song he hears while at baseball games, the one that goes, "Everybody clap your hands".

Tyler is cheering for the Astros to win and Justin Turner to get a home run. Not sure how that that is going to pan out.

He thinks "strikes" are called "stripes".

He is talking about a "base run". Not sure if that is a thing or not but I don't know baseball so maybe it is?

He is spitting before he hits the ball. Not ok!

I am not happy I have the Dodger line up memorized so Tyler and his friends can to be them while they play baseball in the backyard. His favorite player is the "The guy who goes on his knees, Austin Barnes." As Barnes his is constantly adjusting his "face mask" (which doesn't exist by the way). He told his friend he had to be Kershaw because the friend was pitching.
