Broncos Parade

Despite Jeff's deep dislike of the Denver Broncos, Tyler and I went to their Superbowl celebratory parade downtown. I thought it would be a unique and memorable experience and it was, never smelled so much marijuana in my life! Haha. But really, it was fun. Everyone was super excited, the weather was nice, it wasn't too hectic to get to the parade, there was music, and lots of orange and blue.

Ps. Jeff was funny. He was not excited to go to work after the Broncos won and hear everyone talk about them. He said, "And then I got you over here asking me if there is going to be a parade!"
There were crowds of people...

Lots of dogs dressed up, which Tyler loved...

Fun people and things to see...

 Some waiting and snacking around...

Some goofing around...

And some Bronco players, although I only know of Payton Manning...
Mascot

Cheerleaders

And finally, some napping!

Sayings

For the Willis in me

Funnies

Text from Nicole Abler after I sent her a picture of Emma's new clothes. I love Nicole.
This website guesses a person's age based on pictures. We have noticed the lighter the picture, the younger the website says a person is.

Before I went on my cruise this summer I asked Jeff's dad about the formal dress standards...

This one is for Brother Russell. One day when he told a story in seminary about an experience he had while driving. When he was at a stop light Brother Russell saw a man roll down his driver side window and toss a bag of trash out the window. Brother Russell said he isn't necessarily crazy about littering but he couldn't believe what he saw. So Brother Russell rolled down his window and told the guy to pick up the trash, called the man out on it, or something. The man just replied, "Ah, go hug a tree." Tarah and I loved that story and anytime we see anything having to do with "tree hugging", we get a good laugh.

Grateful

I am grateful for where I am at in my life right now. I don't have a perfect life, but I am very content and happy with where I am. Just felt I should share that.

Paris/French Themed Baby Shower

My friend Hillary and I threw a Paris/French themed baby shower for our friend River. We had fun planning it and I think it turned out well. Take a look for yourself and see!

French themed food.

We played two games. The first one people had to draw a picture of a baby behind their backs. We got some funny looking ones and some super good looking ones!
And the winner is...

For the second game, I decided to go easier on people. They had to write River's baby's name (Echo Collins) on a piece of paper. For this one they could do it in front of them but just could not look.

Hmm....
Winner!
Yay presents!
