Life has been busy lately. Jeff finally finished school. Yay! A huge pat on the back to him. He has wanted to be an orthodontist since he was younger and can now finally call himself one. I am so proud and grateful for all of his hard work. Jeff took two jobs in Arizona. He will be working for Perfect Teeth (Peoria, Scottsdale, Tuscon) and Western Dental (Phoenix). I am extremely sad to be leaving our friends and family in Colorado, but grateful to be near some old friends in Arizona and
a bit closer to our parents in California. I am also very happy to be leaving the cold and snow behind! When we first moved to Philly and I was mesmerized by the first snowfall, Jeff told me that that feeling would soon turn to disdain. I couldn't imagine ever getting to that point. Well, it didn't take long as I realized that with snow comes the cold, stressful driving, and extra time needed to get to and from places! So, farewell my enemy I once called friend. Though, I will admit, I am worried about the scorpions and the summer heat in AZ...
We have been vacationing between Cypress and Visalia for the past month. I have really enjoyed seeing our families and friends. We have just been hanging out around the house(s). But, we did go to Disneyland one day, courtesy of my mom. She got us, the Cobos, Ana, and Emma three day park passes. Disneyland was long and hot, but still a lot of fun. Tyler did not like the indoor rides (ex: Peter Pan) but loved loved the outdoor ones (Dumbo, The Tea Cups, and Chip and Dale's Roller Coaster). We still have two more days to use and I hope to get more sleep the night before. I am grateful my mom was kind enough to pay for everyone's tickets. Thank you mom!
Tyler and Christy have struggled a bit with the lack of routine and stability but that will soon change as we will be moving to AZ this week. Christy is starting to become more of a little person. She is calm, not a great sleeper anymore, smiles a lot, goes from 0-100 with her crying, likes to suck on her thumb (naughty girl), giggles in her sleep, and recently wants to be held all the time. The first few weeks of sleep training her will be tough, but I hope to do better with her sleep habits than I did with Tyler. Christy is our little sweetheart and Tyler thinks so too. He loves to kiss, hug, talk, and play with her. When she makes cooing noises he thinks she is talking. One time he said, "She said 'What the heck?'" Another time he said, "What did you say Christy? You said, 'You'"? Silly boy! He is also very protective of her. Although it can be a bit much at times, I am relieved and grateful to see how much Tyler loves and adores Christy.
Well, Christy needs some attention so I better go. Tata!
