Easter 2016

This Easter was MUCH better than last year's (no stomach bugs)! A few days before Easter we got together with some friends and dyed Easter eggs. Tyler made a mess but loved every minute of it!

Jill and Milo

Making a silly, creepy face

Ashley and baby Kenzie
Final product! All the cracked ones are the ones Tyler dyed by dropping them into the water.

The day before Easter we did a community egg hunt. It wasn't very good, but oh well.

Adding the bucket on his head to be silly
Not a fan of the Easter bunny

A group of martial art students performed. It was interesting to watch.

Tyler didn't really know what to do so he just stood there.

And for actual Easter dinner, we hosted a potluck at our house. The food was delicious but sadly we didn't take any pictures.

Spring Break 2016: Texas

Went to Texas over Jeff's spring break to check it out as a potential place to move to. Lots and lots of driving!

This cd brings back memories of my crazy biology teacher. Thanks Nicole!

Houston
Our friends, Brian and Veronica Miller took us to a Houston Rockets basketball night. It was "Latina Noche", we got free hats and the half time show was Spanish singers. Funny.

Corpus Christi
This part reminded me of Huntington, CA.

Park time after we went to the store to get food. Found a super cheap grocery store, ghetto, but super cheap and I fell in love! Almost worth moving here for it.

San Antonio
The Alamo. We weren't able to go in due to the long line. Dissapointing.

The River Walk

We wanted to do the boat ride but it was a bit pricey and we weren't sure Tyler could last on the whole ride.

Stopped for lunch.
Jeff was pleased.
Tyler enjoyed his ice cream but was very upset by the nearby pigeons.

I didn't get any pictures of the temple or nearby it, but it was a gorgeous area! The bluffs reminded me of Newport Beach, CA. Overall, San Antonio was a neat city.

 Austin

We saw this burger place all over Texas and wanted to eat there, when we finally did, it was worth it.

Dallas
Dallas Temple was under construction. Looked more like a church than a temple to me.
The last two stops were to visit friends from Philly:
The Drapers in Dennison, TX.

The Ringers in Oklahoma City, OK.
Happy Birthday Nate! Sarah made a delicious dinner and dessert, she is a great cook!
