Residency Graduation

Jeff's residency graduation was a brunch held at his school on February 24, 2017. It was a simple and nice event; we ate, the residents got their certificates, the class president spoke, and it ended with a slideshow of all the residents over the past two and a half years during the residency.

The water bottle was full of chocolates.

The tables were scattered with these. They were gold chocolates topped with paper to look like mini graduation hats. They were super cute. Tyler loved these. When he discovered Jeff's picture he asked where his was. I told him that he didn't have one and he was surprisingly fine with that. He knows two of Jeff's co residents so he found their pictures and brought them their candy pictures. When Hope came to say hello, Tyler told her about finding Jeff's chocolates so she went and got Jeff's picture off of each table and brought them to him. When she came back and put them all on the table he said, "Go get some more." Rude little boy! :)
After Hope brought Tyler Jeff's candies, he wanted to sort and organize them (they were different types of chocolates).
Jeff's parents came. Having them there made the day even more special.
Tyler loves to be silly with "bam-pa".

Tyler loved watching the slideshow and verbally identified himself and those he knew anytime their pictures showed up.

The kids with Jaya, notice her purse, it was filled with the essentials: an old cell phone, chapstick and fruit snacks. We will miss Jaya, she is a fun little friend.

Just...

normal!
I am so proud of you, congratulations Jeff!

Christy Girl

Our Christy girl is such a little sweetheart. It is amazing to me in such a short amount of time to see the true differences between boys and girls. I guess the Family Proclamation knows what it is talking about! I never really gave it much credit in regards to gender until now.

The Lake girls (both a little tired).
She is a great little sleeper so far and I am truly grateful for that. She looks just like me but has Jeff's ears and toes. She has Jeanette and Ally's nose I think too.

Doesn't match one bit but I loved her little beady eyes.

She likes to sleep with her arms out and up.

She also likes to sleep with things on her face. Must have missed the SIDS memo.

Bath Time

It was a little chilly so I added some extra heat.
