Jeff was chosen to be elected a member of the national dental honor society. This was a major achievement because not all who qualified were selected. Way to go Jeff!

Here is the letter informing Jeff that he was selected |

How Members are selected:
A list containing the names of at least the upper 20% of the graduating
class who rank highest in scholarship for the entire period that they have been
in attendance at a dental school shall be submitted by or secured from the
Dean. From any on this list, a number constituting not more than 12% of the
entire class, who, in addition to scholarship, have demonstrated exemplary
traits of ethical character and potential qualities of future professional
growth and attainments, may be elected to alumni membership by the active
members (faculty) of the component chapter.

The brunch was at the Valley Green Inn. It is in our old neighborhood on a trail I used to run. I have always wanted to eat there so when we pulled up to it for the award ceremony, I was thrilled! |

He was described as tall, quiet, and having a beard. It was so funny! |

Say Cheese! Jeff, Me, and Baby Lake! |
Ps. The food was super fancy. There were: eggs benedict with salmon and cavier on top, egg frittata with mushroom, fruit, french toast with a blueberry sauce, and sausage. I stuck with the fruit, french toast, and sausage. Jeff tried the eggs benedict but opted out of the cavier. The orange juice was even served in fancy wine glasses! I definetly felt out of place.
